My name is Ms. Ocasio. I am from Marymount University studying to be an elementary school teacher. I am student teaching in Mr. Turner's class for seven weeks. It is a great joy to be working with Mr. Turner's Super Kinders!
"It's a flying vehicle that is used for real USA wars. I started out trying to make something that is compared to a paper airplane. Then I got the idea to make it into a battle jet. I really want my cousins that live in Atlanta, Ga to see it."Danny
"I wanted to put my work on the blog because it is pretty. I wanted my Nanna and Grandpoppi to see it. They live in South Carolina. I used a book to make her."- Nadia
"I made this robot out of foam all by myself. I took the foam out of the box and I stuck it on the robot. There was only gray, black, and red. I wanted to put this on the blog because I wanted my grandma who lives in Virginia to see it. It's so cool."-Z
Welcome to Mr. Turner's Super Kinder blog. We are a kindergarten class at Jamestown Elementary School in Arlington County, Virginia. Our class has 24 students, a lead teacher (Mr. Guye Turner), and an assistant teacher (Mrs. Valerie Kuehn). This blog will serve two purposes. The first one is to give our parents an insight on what we do in our classroom. The second is to give us the opportunity to connect with other kindergarten classrooms around the world! My students are extremely excited and we are ready to start sharing with the world what we do.
